Federal Minister Mian Javed Latif on Tuesday disclosed that the PakistanMuslim League-Nawaz quaid was returning after Eid to face the courts.

“If not arrested upon arrival, Nawaz will most likely lead the ralliesplanned by the PML-N [to counter the PTI gatherings],” he said. “These weresupposed to be led by PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz from May 6.”

Dispelling rumours about Maryam trying to flee the country, the ministersaid she would return if she was allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia as shehad to lead the PML-N rallies.

Maryam began her mobilisation drive from Tuesday, holding a party workers’meeting in NA 128, Lahore which is MNA Sheikh Rohail Ashgar’s constituency.
