LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started to consider makingpossible changes in the categories of centrally contracted players with anexpected increase of 10 to 15% in monthly salaries and fees.
“Preliminary talks have started for new central contracts,” said a PCBofficial as the existing contracts of the 20 players will expire on June 30.
The PCB is considering reshuffling, promoting, and demoting players throughdifferent categories for the new contracts that are to be issued on June 1,sources privy to the matter said.
