BEIJING – Chinese President Xi Jinping opened the International BeijingHorticulture Expo 2019 Beijing today. Addressing the inaugural session ofthe expo, he said the main objective of the event is to make the earthgreen and ensuring ecological balance of the universe.

He emphasized on protection of human friendly scenic beauty of the nature.He said joint efforts should be made to meet the challenges of climatechange and maintaining ecological balance on the earth as no country cansingle handedly tackle this issue.
