*KARACHI – Pakistan released 60 Indian fishermen as goodwill gesture onSunday.*
The fishermen were jubilant for being released after one and a half years.They were arrested for violating the sea territories of Pakistan.
They said that India should also make such decisions for peace.
The freed fishermen have been sent to Lahore by Business Express. They willbe handed over to Indian authorities at Wagah Border on Monday.
On April 14, Pakistan released another one hundred Indian fishermen fromMalir Jail Karachi as a goodwill gesture.
The fishermen were arrested for fishing illegally in Pakistani watersduring various operations.
The fishermen will be taken to Lahore through train where they would behanded over to the Indian authorities at Wagah Border tomorrow.
Earlier on April 7, Pakistan released one hundred Indian fishermen fromKarachi Jail as a goodwill gesture.
They were taken to Lahore and handed over to Indian authorities at WagahBorder. These fishermen had been arrested for illegal fishing in Pakistaniwaters.
