KARACHI – The Sindh police recovered 800 skins of donkeys and dogs whileraiding a warehouse at Korangi, arrested two suspects, the group ofsuspects supply donkey and dog meat to hotels in different cities ofKarachi including hotels.

During raid on a warehouse in the Korangi sector, Sone A, Kargi Sector,police recovered 200 bags filled with donkeys and dog skins and arrestedtwo suspects, including an Afghan resident Abdul Rahim.

According to police, the Afghan citizen had taken this warehouse with thehelp of Pakistani citizens, their group is benzabhai, which brings skinsfrom KP and different cities of Punjab and Karachi and skins are exportedfrom here.

The Afghan resident Abdul Rahim told the police that these skins werebrought from different cities of KP and Panjayb. These animals wereslaughtered and sold their meat in their cities, instead they were broughtto Karachi to send chains.

SHO said that this is a big gang which brings skins from various cities ofPakistan, but this gang also supplies meat in various cities in differentareas of Karachi, as well as hotels in Karachi. There were at least 800skins.
