NEW DELHI – US Officials arrived in New Delhi to enhance the counterterrorism cooperation with India.
Government representatives from India and the United States on Tuesdaydeliberated on the need of coordinated international efforts to counterthreats by foreign militants, at the 15th meeting of the India-USCounter-Terrorism Joint Working Group in New Delhi, Hindustan Times hasreported.
The group discussed international and bilateral cooperation on justice, lawenforcement and capacity building efforts to counter terrorism, theministry of ex- ternal affairs said in a statement.
“Both sides committed to stre- ngthening information sharing on some of theworld’s most dang- erous terrorist groups and efforts to counter thefinancing of terrorist organisations,” it said.
