The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approvedraising the electricity tariff by 48 paisas per unit on account of monthlyfuel price adjustment.
Completing the hearing of the application moved by CPPA for increasing thepower price for January, the Nepra said it will release the detailedjudgment after review the data.
The raise in power tariff will put an additional burden of Rs9.2 billion onthe consumers
