NEW DELHI – Indian Army, Airforce Senior Officers were embarrassed at mediaquestions over claimed surgical strike in Pakistan when asked about thenumber of casualties and proofs of shooting down F-16.

When Air Vice Marshal RGK Kapoor was asked if he could put a number on thecasualties India claimed to have inflicted on the ‘terrorist camp’ inBalakot, he said it was “still premature” for him to do so.

When questioned, the IAF officer was also unable to provide substantiatingevidence for the success claimed by India in the said provocation.

Likewise, the ‘proof’ the IAF offered to substantiate its claim of shootingdown a Pakistani F-16 was just a metal fragment from what it claimed was anAMRAAM missile that was equipped on a Pakistani jet.
