ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Switzerland have agreed to take concrete steps tofurther enhance and expand bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.
The agreement came at the 10th Round of Bilateral Political Consultationsbetween the two countries in Berne Switzerland.
Additional Secretary Europe Ambassador Zaheer A. Janjua led the Pakistandelegation, while the Swiss side was headed by Ambassador Johannes Matyassy.
They also agreed on exchange of business delegations and supporting SMEs.
The two sides reviewed all aspects of bilateral relations, includingpolitical, economic, trade, investment and cooperation in the fields ofeducation, science and technology, agriculture and defence.
They also discussed multilateral cooperation on key areas of interest andexchanged views on important global and regional developments.
Both sides recognised the vast potential of the two economies for mutuallybeneficial cooperation.
