ISLAMABAD – Senior APHC leader and Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu andKashmir, Muhammad AshrafSehrai has strongly condemned the desecration of bodies of the youthmartyred by troops in IndianOccupied Kashmir (IOK) on Saturday.According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred two youth during acordon and searchoperation in Khonmoh area of Srinagar. Their bodies were charred beyondrecognition as the troopsset ablaze a house in the area by using chemical substance.Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that suchcharred barbarismwas considered a big offence under international laws and was highlycondemnable under GenevaConventions.However, he said in Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops were committing it justlike it was anormal as nobody had opposed them. He deplored that it is a common practicenow by the Indianforces’ personnel to burn down houses and hand over charred bodies of youthto the families.The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman said that the inhumane behaviour of theIndian troops atKhonmoh with the dead bodies was unethical and unacceptable. He urged theinternational communityto intervene and come forward for the rescue of the Kashmiris.Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League spokesman in a statement inSrinagar paidglowing tributes to the youth martyred in Khonmoh. He said that theunparalleled sacrifices renderedby the Kashmiri youth for the sacred cause of freedom would not be allowedto go waste and theirmission would be accomplished at all costs.
