Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, who was part of the national cricket team, recently participated in a podcast where he informed the host about his preferences.
From the host's side, questions were asked to the former fast bowler about his experiences with Hajj and Umrah. In response, he mentioned that he had the privilege of performing Hajj for the first time in 2014, and it was the Friday Hajj. After that, he was blessed by Allah to visit His house once again the following year. Shoaib Akhtar expressed gratitude for being able to visit Allah's house more than once.
Shoaib Akhtar also stated that the Kaaba and the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) house in Medina are the most beautiful places in the universe, and his heart finds peace when he is there.
Furthermore, the former fast bowler shared his desire to find employment in Medina. He had made a prayer for this while visiting the city, expressing that even if he were to find a small place near the Kaaba, it would be a significant blessing.
Shoaib Akhtar revealed that in Medina, he would conceal his identity to avoid disturbing anyone. He would often wear a veil and blend in with the crowds because people there were often preoccupied with taking selfies and photos, and he didn't want to attract unnecessary attention.
