ISLAMABAD - In a breakthrough in Pakistan and American ties, US makes an offer to Pakistan over a new trade pact.
During Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to the United States, there was a big break through in relations between the two countries, the US offered a trade agreement to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan met with the US Minister of Commerce in which a trade agreement was offered.
US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Rose stressed the need for enhancing trade relations between Pakistan and the US and said that the current $ 4 billion trade between Pakistan and the US is very low, the trade volume between the two countries will have to increase.
Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed the US proposal and said that promotion of trade and economic activities was essential in both countries.
After the meeting, it is likely that the agreement is expected soon with the US offering to increase trade activities with Pakistan.
