LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique was released on parole for 48 hours on Sunday.
The PML-N leader had submitted a plea to deputy commissioner, seeking to release him on parole for funeral and burial of his mother-in-law. The concerned authorities have approved his bail on parole for 48 hours.
Earlier on October 30, an accountability court in Lahore on Wednesday rejected Khawaja brothers’ acquittal pleas and extended their judicial remand till October 30 in Paragon Housing case link .
The court announced the verdict on Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique’s petitions which was reserved.
