ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Hussain Chaudhry on Saturday said the controversy created by the opposition around the fake news about the Israeli aircraft was a conspiracy to make the Kashmir Black Day controversial.
No Israeli aircraft had entered the Pakistani space or landed anywhere in the country and the Civil Aviation Authority had also refuted the news in that regard terming the same baseless, the minister said talking to a news channel.
He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Ahsan Iqbal was issuing statements on the tweet of an Israeli journalist.
Despite CAA’s clarification, both Ahsan Iqbal and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman were issuing statements. Such attitude on matters of national importance from the PML-N and its allies was not expected, who were trying to make the matter disputed, he added.
