Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government wants to resolve the Faizabad sit-in issue through dialogue.
In an interview with PTV, he said no Muslim can make any compromise on Khatm-e-Nabuwat and the entire nation is united in this regard.
He said the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) teach us to ensure the rights of all human beings and the blocking of roads is completely violation of such teachings.
The Interior Minister said as followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), we should follow his teachings in the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
He condemned the attack of protesters on the residence of MNA Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Ahsan Iqbal said that all institutions, including media, should play due role to ensure law and order situation in the country.
He said Pakistan is a nuclear power and such sit-ins damage the soft image of the country in the world.
