Pakistan Hockey team leaves for England to play World Cup qualifying round

LAHORE  – The national hockey team left for England to play the qualifying round of the World Cup qualifying round.

Before their departure on Saturday, captain Abdul Haseem said that the team will succeed in the mission.

Before the qualifying round, the team will play a three-match series against Ireland.

The team will reach England on June 10.

The World Cup qualifying round will be played from June 15 to 25. Green Shirts have been placed in the Pool B, which comprises of Canada, India, Holland and Scotland.

The first match will be played against Holland on June 15. Green Shirts will face the archrivals on June 18.

The quarter-finals will be played on June 22and semi-finals on June 24.

The final will be played on June 25.
