ISLAMABAD, (APP): SC dismisses petition against Army’s commercial activities
The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a petition filed against commercial activities of the armed forces due to non appearance of the petitioner as well as his counsel.
The division bench of the apex court comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Qazi Faez Isa heard the case.
Deputy Attorney General Sajid Ilyas Bhatti stated that the armed forces of the country were not involved in any kind of commercial or business activities.
He said that a case was pending before the trial court against Bahria town over the usage of Bahria name.
