LAHORE, (APP): All Pakistan Inter-varsity Women Karate Championship begins
The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, organised All Pakistan Inter-varsity Women Karate Championship from May 26-27 in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Islamabad (HEC) here on Thursday in UVAS City Sports Complex.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha was the chief guest and inaugurated the championship while (UVAS) Chairman Sports Board Prof Dr Aftab Anjum and Director Sports Rana Amjad Iqbal, faculty members, students and players were also present.
Total 11 universities including Iqra University Karachi, Punjab University Lahore, Islamia University Bahawalpur, Government College University Faisalabad, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Riphah International University Faisalabad, Lahore College for Women University, Karachi University Karachi, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Imperial University Lahore and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore teams from all over Pakistan participated in the championship.
