European countries have rejected US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize the Golan as Israeli territory.
At the United Nations Security Council's meeting in New York, all five countries including Belgium, Britain, France, Germany and Poland voiced concern that the move could have broad consequences.
EU countries insisted that the Golan remained Israeli-occupied Syrian territory, in line with international law enshrined in UN resolutions.
