Hot and dry weather likely in most parts of country: Met Office

ISLAMABAD-Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper/Central Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning:       

Islamabad twenty-four degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-nine, Peshawar twenty-eight, Karachi thirty-one, Quetta twenty-five, Murree seventeen Muzaffarabad and Gilgit twenty-one, degree centigrade.

According to the Met Office forecast about Occupied Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain and thunderstorm.

Temperature recorded on Saturday morning : Srinagar  nineteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-four, Leh seven, Pulwama sixteen Baramula seventeen, Anantnag eighteen and Shopian fourteen degree centigrade.
