WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that the United States will not put a time line on negotiations for North Korea’s denuclearisation steps.
Speaking to CNN, Pompeo said he wanted to see continued progress towards North Korean denuclearisation and that the US administration would regularly assess Pyongyang’s seriousness about abandoning its nuclear program.
Mike Pompeo has been charged with leading negotiations aimed at persuading North Korea to give up a nuclear weapons program.
