ISLAMABAD:Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says harmony in Pak-US relationship is vital for defeating terrorism in the region.
He said this while talking to a delegation of United States National Security Council headed by Senior Director and Special Assistant to US President Lisa Curtis in Islamabad.
Ahsan Iqbal said backbone of terrorism had been broken in Pakistan.
He said Pak-US knowledge corridor would help increasing educational capacity of students of Pakistan.
About Afghanistan, he said Pakistan wishes to develop sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the minister also informed the delegation about measures taken by the government to stop human trafficking.APP/AFP
