Provincial government announces one extra holiday for the Eid ul Fitr

Against the federal government’s notification of four public holidays from May 02 to May 05, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced one extra Eid holiday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the KP government has announced five public holidays on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr from May 02 (Monday) to May 05 (Friday).

As per the declaration of the KP government, all the government and non-government departments will be closed from May 2 to May 6.

These five public holidays of the KP government, coupled with Sunday, will become six public holidays in total for the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Pertinent to mention here that the federal government on Wednesday notified four public holidays for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the notification released in Islamabad by the Cabinet Division, the four holidays will be from May 2 (Monday) to May 5 (Thursday).
