Curfew imposed in Srinagar by Indian Army

SRINAGAR: Indian Army imposed curfew in Srinagar to stop people from offering funeral prayers of JKLF Founder Amanullah Khan.

 

Massive troops and police personnel deployed in Indian Occupied Kashmir by puppet authorities that cordoned off the entry points to Lal Chowk where the ghaibana funeral was scheduled to be offered.

 

Indian police put several Kashmiri leaders under house arrest and lodged some in police station including Chairmen of JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik and Hurriyet leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

 

Hurriyet leader Firdous Ahmad Shah strongly condemned authorities for imposing curfew to prevent people from offering funeral prayers.

 

A day earlier, JKLF Founder Amanullah Khan died in Lahore at the age of 82.

 

The funeral was scheduled to be offered in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi.
