ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said that theHindutva ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has createda division in India, GNN reported.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi headed a consultative meeting comprising formerforeign secretaries and affirmed that the fire that New Delhi had lit inoccupied Kashmir on August 5 has now spread across India.
The participants of the meeting discussed the continued curfew, Indianaggression in occupied Kashmir and critical situation of peace and securityof the region.
The foreign minister said Pakistan was and would continue exposing Indianbrutalities in the held valley at every platform.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said 144 days have passed since military clampdown byIndian forces in occupied Kashmir and people have since been kept in darkby suspending means of communication in the held Valley.
He commented that the supporters of secular India are protesting againstdiscriminatory Citizenship Amendment Act and Modi government is committingceasefire violations across the Line of Control (LoC) to divert attentionfrom internal turmoil.
The foreign minister stressed that Pakistan Army and people are fullycommitted to defending the motherland. Pakistan is exposing India at everyplatform, he concluded.
