Pakistan vows to repatriate 341 Pakistani prisoners from Indian jails

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal stronglycondemned the unabated Indian forces brutalities in Occupied Kashmir wheresome five hundred civilians have been killed over this year. He urged theinternational community, particularly the champions of human rights to urgeIndia to immediately halt its atrocities in the held valley.

The spokesperson said Jammu and Kashmir issue is at top of Pakistan’s listof priorities and we will continue to expose the true Indian face inoccupied Kashmir at all international forums.

In reply to a quary the spokesperson said there are 341 Pakistani prisonersin the Indian jails including 154 civil prisoners and 187 fishermen. Ourmission is in contact with all relevant Indian authorities for repatriationof these prisoners. Our High Commission in New Delhi also engages with theIndian media to highlight the plight of Pakistani prisoners. A law firm hasalso been hired to assist and facilitate their repatriation.
