The scope of investigation into leakage of income tax returns of outgoingArmy Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s family has been widened.
As many as 15 officers and officials including two deputy commissioners ofCorporate Tax Office Lahore have been shifted to FBR Headquarters forinvestigation.
The FBR transferred Deputy Commissioners Atif Warraich and Zahoor Ahmad toAdmin Pool Islamabad two days ago.
The FBR probe team in collaboration with IT experts are examining the database, the sources said, adding the team also has full cooperation from I&IInland Revenue.
