Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Finance Minister, Ahmed Rasool Bangash, has statedthat the province is facing financial difficulties, and the news of salarycuts for government employees is merely a rumor.
The provincial Finance Minister mentioned that the federal government hasimposed a duty of 233 billion rupees for the previous fiscal year.
The Prime Minister of the province has assured the payment of the remainingdues. According to Ahmed Rasool Bangash, there are no salary cuts forgovernment employees, and this information was informally discussed.

He also revealed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has approved a budgetof 529 billion rupees for the next 4 months until February 2024.
