Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood has said the government’s focus onregional connectivity to increase trade with neighboring countries isbeginning to show results.
In his tweets on Wednesday, he pointed out that our exports to China,Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and the Central Asian Republics grew by thirtyfive percent to 938 million dollars during the first quarter of currentfiscal year as compared to 694 million dollars in the corresponding periodlast year.
The Adviser encouraged the exporters to aggressively market their productsin the regional markets to increase exports.
