LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique wasreleased on parole for 48 hours on Sunday.
The PML-N leader had submitted a plea to deputy commissioner, seeking torelease him on parole for funeral and burial of his mother-in-law. Theconcerned authorities have approved his bail on parole for 48 hours.
Earlier on October 30, an accountability court in Lahore on Wednesdayrejected Khawaja brothers’ acquittal pleas and extended their judicialremand till October 30 in Paragon Housing caselink.
The court announced the verdict on Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaderKhawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique’s petitionswhich was reserved.
