ISLAMABAD – India irked as Pakistan China and Russia stand together onforeign policy front.
Russia, China and Pakistan stood together in Russia as India left isolatedon the important issue of Afghanistan. Three countries on Friday called foran early resumption of peace talks between the United States and theTaliban group.
The U.S. President Trump called off peace talks with Taliban last monthafter a series of deadly attacks killed several people in capital Kabulincluding an American soldier.
According to a statement released after the conclusion of the meeting inMoscow, the representatives of Russia, China and Pakistan supported theearliest resumption of peace talks between the United States and Taliban.
The statement further added that the negotiations leading to an agreementbetween the U.S. and Taliban will pave the way for intra-Afghan dialogue.
Furthermore, the participants of the meeting emphasized that the warringparties should observe a ceasefire for the duration of the intra-Afghandialogue.
They also called on the Afghan government and the Taliban group to releasethe prisoners at the start of the intra-Afghan dialogue.
