*ISLAMABAD – New surprising names have surfaced in the overseas propertiescase.*

*Federal Investigation Agency, (FIA) has submitted a list of political andgovernment officials, holding benami properties in the United Arab Emirates(UAE).*

The list also contains the name of Aleema Khanum, a sister of PrimeMinister Imran Khan. She is identified as benamidar of a property. A noticehas been issued to her through email as well as delivered at her homeaddress by the FIA.

Mother of Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, Farukh Saleem, PTI leaderMumtaz Ahmed Muslim are also named in the list of people holding propertiesin Dubai.

Rizwana Ameen, wife of late, PPP leader, Makhdoom Amin Fahim also holdingthree properties, while she refused to entertain the FIA’s notice byrefusing its claim.

Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi, Mir Hassan Talpur, former senator, Imaar AhmedKhan have also been named to have properties in UAE, according to the FIAlist.

Moreover, several names of government officials including, CustomCollector, Shahid Majeed, FBR Officer, Wasif Khan, former MD PIA, AijazHaroon, DIG Sohail Habib and others are also included in the list submittedby the FIA in Supreme Court.

According to the list, a resident of Gulbarg, Lahore has been benamidar ofas many as 22 properties in Dubai.The list also contains the name of AyeshaEnver Baig, wife of former senator Enver Baig and owner of Anwar Steel. Shehas one property in the UAE, but it has been disclosed in the tax returnsfiled with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
