ISLAMABAD – The supreme court on Saturday has given historic decision overthe issue of airing Indian content on Pakistani TV Channels.
SC has barred all Pakistani TV channels from airing Indian content, localmedia reported.
A bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan was hearing apetition filed by a producers association against a verdict announced bythe Lahore High Court (LHC) allowing the local media to air the Indiancontent.
The apex court had suspended the high court verdict. “They are trying tohinder the construction of our dams and we cannot event shut theirchannels?” remarked the chief justice.
