ISLAMABAD – Finance Minister Asad Umar has stressed the need to enhancelevel of institutional coordination to ensure timely accomplishment ofFinancial Action Task Force action plan.

He was chairing a meeting to review progress on FATF Action Plan andAsia-Pacific Group on Money Laundering assessment, in Islamabad on Saturday.

The Minister directed that all stakeholders should be advised to developinternal actions plans, which will be monitored on a fortnightly basis.

He also desired appropriate and complete responses to APG’s follow-upqueries.
