Abu Dhabi: The government of the United Arab Emirates has decided to launcha free travel visa program for Gulf residents to promote tourism. Thefacility is also available to expats living in Gulf states includingPakistanis.
According to a report from an international news agency, the government ofthe United Arab Emirates has started working on a new tourism visa that,once obtained, will allow visa holders to travel to several Arab countries,including Saudi Arabia.
This announcement was made by the UAE Minister of Economy, Abdullah binTouq Al Marri, during a speech at a conference in Abu Dhabi.
He mentioned that this facility is also for non-resident foreigners livingin Gulf countries who can travel to other Arab countries on the UAE’stourism visa. Gulf residents will be granted free movement in thesecountries.
