12,000 strong force of FC and Rangers to be deployed in Islamabad to crush PTI long march

The federal cabinet has given a go-ahead for the deployment of personnelof civil armed forces in Islamabad. The Interior Ministry moved thesummary in wake of former prime minister Imran Khan’s long marchlink plan, sources said.

They added that sufficient civil link armedlink forceslink will be deployed as availableand required.

The Islamabad administration made a request for the deploymentlink of Rangers and FC, the insiderssaid, adding that the services of 12,000 personnel of Rangers and FC hadbeen sought.

Islamabad police bracing for PTI expected long marchlink

A total of 5,000 personnel of Punjab Rangers and 2,000 Sindh Rangers wererequested while the services of 5,000 FC officials have also been sought.

Reportedly, the federal capital police have been bracing for PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf’s expected long march link.

Hundreds of containers will also be installed to bar the marchers whiledens will also be dug at the entrances. Additional teargas shells andteargas-launching drones will also be procured, the insiders said.
