US speaks of counter terrorism aid to allies, Pakistan India dialogues

*NEW YORK – The United States (US) will continue to financially aid allycountries fighting the war against terrorism, said the US department ofStates spokesperson said.*

Helena White, the US official, laid stress on USA’s desire to eliminateterrorism alongside its ally countries, highlighting that financialassistance to partner countries will be continued in this regard.

Speaking about Pakistan-India relations, she shared “the USA aims to bringthe world out of the threats of nuclearization and looks forward to peacein South Asia region.”

Underscoring the significance of talks between arch-rivals, Ms White saidthat dialogue between Pakistan and India will have a positive impact on theregion.

Few days back, a US newspaper wrote that President Donald Trump’sadministration has been reportedly revisiting its recent move ofwithholding coalition support fund to Pakistan.

Emphasizing the election of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan asthe Prime Minister in July 25 polls, the Washington Times wrote that ImranKhan’s election as the premier “presents the U.S. with a rare window toreset relations with a critical but troublesome ally, but the two sidesface a slew of difficult issues and a lack of trust in any effort toimprove relations.”
