ISLAMABAD – Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi arrivedin Italy for an official visit.

He called on Chief of Italian Navy Admiral Valter Girardelli andCommander-In-Chief Italian Naval Fleet Admiral Donato Marzano in separatemeetings.

On his arrival at Italian Naval Headquarters at Rome, CNS was received byChief of Italian Navy Admiral Valter Girardelli. A ceremonial guard withmilitary honours was also presented to the Naval Chief.

Later during the meeting between Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral ZafarMahmood Abbasi and Admiral Valter Girardelli, matters of mutual interest,including bilateral naval collaboration were dilated upon.
