One Avenue TV: Pakistani entrepreneur sets up media startup in USA

KARACHI: (APP) A Pakistani entrepreneur now in USA has come up with OneAvenue.Tv which is a media startup that gives music artists a direct and immersive relationship with fans who wish to engage with all the activities of an artist at one place.

A message received here said that Imran Shaikh, 27, an Iqra University Karachi alumni, who moved to San Francisco four years ago and Dave Kaplow, a serial entrepreneur and one of the former leading members of the Apple Macintosh team, conceived and established this startup in the Silicon Valley.

It was further pointed out that Social Networks are Broken for Music Artists and Their Fans.

Music artists, record labels, and music tastemakers relying on traditional social media to reach fans quickly find that their content is lost in the `noise’ of cat-videos and sponsored ads.

Fans struggle to know what’s new with artists because changes in social algorithms mean that fewer fans than ever will see an artist’s posts.

OneAvenue.Tv App Connects Artists with Fans (http://bit.ly/oneave), giving instant and immersive relationship with personalized feed of artists’ content by aggregating their social posts, videos and music across thousands of top-name and up-and-coming artists.

Fans follow artists in the app and see all of their activities about them in one place, instead of cutting across multiple social, video, music and ticketing apps to find out what’s new.

It was further pointed out that OneAvenue.Tv App builds upon the company’s original content viewership of 6 million viewers worldwide.

The company has been working with 1,300 artists and record labels like Epic Records, RCA Records, Atlantic Records, The End Records, Spinnin Records, and A&R Department.
