LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Chaudhry Sarwar oath takingceremony for Governor Punjab slot has been delayed.

He has said that he will take oath as the Punjab’s governor after thepresidential election on September 4.

Punjab governor-in-waiting said that every vote is precious even a singlevote to make the president of Pakistan, saying that he will resign fromSenate after the presidential election. He will take oath after castingvote to PTI’s candidate for president Arif Alvi on September 4.

“I have the honour of being a member of the Senate of Pakistan. I wish tofulfil my duty as a Senator & help elect Dr Arif Alvi as the President ofPakistan on Sept 4th. I will inshahallah take my oath as Governor of Punjabafter that! #NayaPakistan,” he said in his tweet.
