Abdul Ghaffar Soomro has taken oath as Acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

Justice Altaf Ibrahim administered him oath at a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.

Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza has proceeded to the United Kingdom to attend 16th Cambridge Conference.
