LAHORE: Punjab government has decided to impose new taxes as people would have to pay taxes on sale and purchase of property while commercial and residence plots would also be affected by the decision of government however tax would not be imposed on plots of government employees, disables and widows.
As per details, provincial government decided to increase professional tax from 30 to 50% for those companies having over 100 employees. Rs. 85 billion target of receipts has been set by Punjab government in the province.
16% tax would be imposed on ware houses and cold storage by government while it has been decided to set life token at Rs. 25000 for 1300-cc cars.
