Against the federal government’s notification of four public holidays fromMay 02 to May 05, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced one extraEid holiday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the KP government has announced fivepublic holidays on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr from May 02 (Monday) to May 05(Friday).
As per the declaration of the KP government, all the government andnon-government departments will be closed from May 2 to May 6.
These five public holidays of the KP government, coupled with Sunday, willbecome six public holidays in total for the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Pertinent to mention here that the federal government on Wednesday notifiedfour public holidays for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the notification released in Islamabad by the CabinetDivision, the four holidays will be from May 2 (Monday) to May 5 (Thursday).
