ISLAMABAD – Pakistan UAE Forces joint operation busts international drugCARTEL, media has reported.
The UAE government have busted a drug cartel in the UAE and arrested itstwo leaders, Gulf NewslinkreportedWednesday.
The UAE ministry of interior said that the suspects were arrested in theUAE and Pakistan, adding that it was a Pakistan-UAE joint operation.
The action was taken on information provided by an undercover UAE agent.Based on his information, the UAE police raided a hideout of the gang,arresting its head and confiscating 10kg of cocaine.

Following his arrest, a Pakistan-based leader of the same gang threatenedthe UAE officials on social media with revenge, the Gulf News report said.
The UAE officials contacted Pakistani authorities and arrested the suspectin a joint raid in Pakistan. The ministry thanked the Pakistani authoritiesfor their cooperation. The suspect was brought to the UAE for further legalproceedings.
