ISLAMABAD – An important meeting between Prime Minister Shahid KhaqanAbbasi Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar is underway inIslamabad.

The premier arrived at the Supreme Court building without security protocolwhere he was received by the chief justice.

According to sources, both will discuss country’s political situation andexchange views on other important affairs.

The Judicial Reforms process would also come under discussion.

The apex court building saw a sudden influx of local security officials anda cordon was put in place shortly before seven o’clock. Prime MinisterAbbasi arrived at the court without his official security protocol.

He was welcomed at the judge’s gate by the chief justice.

Sources confirmed to the news channels that the one-on-one meeting wasstill underway but did not disclose any further details.
