ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue and Minister ofState, Haroon Akhtar Khan has said that the government intends to reviewtax structure to minimize tax burden on the common man, reported *RadioPakistan*.

Speaking at a seminar in Karachi, he said the government’s target is toencourage tax payers to come under tax net and to get ultimate objective ofmore revenue through less taxes with low rate.

The Adviser said that the Amnesty Scheme would be announced before thecoming annual budget if the government got green signal from the SupremeCourt of Pakistan.
