Three Pakistani fighter jets crossed 2 to 3 kilometres inside India across LoC and dropped bombs: Indian media

NEW DELHI: Three Pakistani Air Force jets Wednesday violated the Indian airspace and crossed the Line of Control to enter Jammu and Kashmir. Accordingto senior officials, the jets entered Poonch and Nowshera sectors, Indianmedia has reported.

The jets reportedly entered up to two kilometres inside the Indianterritory.

The Pakistani jets also dropped bombs while fleeing but there is no reportof any casualty or damage to property, officials told news agency *PTI*.

“The jets entered Indian air space over Nowshera and Poonch sectors thismorning,” officials said.

Jammu and Srinagar airports have been shut down for commercial flights andall planes going to the two cities have been diverted to airports in Punjaband Delhi.

Just a day earlier on Tuesday, the IAF had carried out multiple aerialstrikes targeting terror launch pads in Pakistan, completely destroyingthem, including control rooms of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group.
