PM Modi faces severe backlash from Indians over creating war hysteria against Pakistan

*LAHORE – #SayNoToWar becomes top twitter trend in India after PakistanAir Force (PAF) shot down two IAF fighter jets.*

According to the reports, after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down twoIndian fighting jets on Wednesday and video of arrested Indian pilot AbhiNandan spread on social media, hashtag #SayNoToWar has become the top trendin India.

Amid war fears as tensions soared between India and Pakistan on Wednesday,Indian several social media users advocated peace and took to Twitter usingthe hashtag #SayNoToWar. The hashtag soon became one of the top trends inIndia.

On Wednesday, *Pakistan Air Force shot down two Indian aircraft* insidePakistani airspace and arrested two Indian pilots on ground. The movefollowed India’s intrusion into Pakistan’s airspace early Tuesday.

Amid war fears, several social media users in India advocated peace andurged that war should not be fought.

One Indian user wrote: “No politician ever dies in a war, they only createit. It’s always the innocent civilians and military jawans that suffer anddie. We demand #*BringBackAbhinandan.”

Another Indian writer Nikhil Taneja wrote: “o those baying for revenge andblood, I’m sure you’ve seen videos of Wing Commander Abhindan in captivity.This is the cost or war. ‘Countries’ don’t get affected by war. Humanbeings do. For a country to ‘win’, human lives can be lost. Pray for peace,please.
