MOSCOW:Russia has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution, to call out Iran over Yemen.
Britain had drafted the resolution in consultation with the United States and France.
The resolution was pertaining to Iran’s failure to prevent its weapons from falling into the hands of Yemen’s Houthi group.
US been lobbying for months for Iran to be held accountable at the United Nations.APP/AFP
