Beijing: Over the Dangerous outbreak of Coronavirus, Stranded Pakistanistudents in Wuhan province make an appeal to Government of Pakistan. Pakistanistudents stranded in Engineering and Science University in Wuhan provinceof China have requested the government to take steps for their safe returnto Pakistan, following the alarming outbreak of the coronavirus in theChina, GNN reported.
The death toll in an outbreak of a new coronavirus in China has reached 80,and more than 2800 people have been infected.
The virus, which started in Wuhan city in Hubei province last month, hassince spread to other major cities including Beijing, Shanghai and HongKong.
In a video message, Pakistani students stranded at Engineering and ScienceUniversity of Wuhan said that more than two thosand students from 12 majoruniversities are facing acute shortage of food as the province has been cutfrom China due to Corona virus.
“We appeal Chinese and Pakistani authorities to help us for the sake ofhumanity.”, the students added.
Another student said that the Corona virus has been confirmed in more than2000 patients, while more than 50 have died. Other countries have startedarrangements, Pakistani government should take some measure for their safeexit from China.
A female student expressed her worry, “Yes, we are facing food shortages,it may soon be that we have nothing to eat, we are locked in one place, theprovince is practically isolated from all over China.”
The students further requested Prime Minister and Foreign Minister toplease send help and facilitate their evacuation from the province.
